POCO is preparing to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the POCO F9 Ultra, which is expected to hit global markets soon. Said to be a rebadged version of the China-exclusive Xiaomi Redmi K100 Pro Max, this device brings substantial upgrades over its predecessor, the POCO F8 Ultra, across cameras, performance, battery, and display departments.
Powerful Snapdragon Chipset and Cooling
At its core, the POCO F9 Ultra is rumored to house Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with a dedicated VisionBoost D8 chip. This dual-chip configuration promises exceptional performance for heavy multitasking and demanding gaming. To maintain sustained performance during long sessions, POCO is expected to further refine its multi-layer IceLoop cooling technology. It will likely ship with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of fast UFS 4.1 storage, running on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

The device features a massive camera overhaul, led by a 200MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
