Poco has officially expanded its flagship lineup with the global launch of the Poco F9 Pro, introduced alongside the F9 Ultra. Positioned as the direct successor to the F8 Pro, the new handset brings significant upgrades across processing power, display speed, camera hardware, and battery capacity.
Design and Display
The Poco F9 Pro features a premium build consisting of a glass front and an aluminum frame. The device measures 8.6mm in thickness and weighs approximately 206g. Color options include Black, White, and Aurora Green. The Aurora Green variant stands out with an exclusive full-panel luminous back design that glows after being exposed to a light source. Additionally, the phone carries an IP68 rating for protection against water and dust entry.
On the front, the phone sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1156 x 2510 pixels. Upgrading from the 120Hz refresh rate found on the F8 Pro, this display reaches a 185Hz refresh rate for smoother visual output and scrolling. Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series processor paired with Poco's dedicated VisionBoost D8 chipset. Memory configurations include 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM coupled with up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
