Lenovo has expanded its budget-friendly laptop segment in Nepal with the official launch of the Lenovo V15 G6. Geared towards students, office professionals, and small business owners, this entry-level notebook focuses on providing reliable performance for everyday tasks at an accessible price point.
Design and Build Quality
The Lenovo V15 G6 carries a simple, professional look finished in classic Business Black. Weighing 1.51 kg and measuring under 20 mm in thickness, it offers comfortable portability for daily commutes. For added peace of mind against tough usage, the laptop also carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.
Display
Up front, the laptop features a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920×1080) anti-glare screen. It utilizes a TN panel with a brightness level of 250 nits and 45% NTSC color gamut coverage. While this display works well for managing documents, attending online classes, and web browsing, content creators who rely on vibrant color accuracy and wide viewing angles might find it basic.
Performance and Upgradability
Under the hood, the V15 G6 is driven by an Intel N100 processor featuring 4 cores, 4 threads, and boost clock speeds reaching up to 3.4 GHz. Graphics handling relies on integrated Intel UHD Graphics, suitable for casual tasks and light usage. A key advantage over standard budget laptops is its adoption of modern DDR5 memory—coming with 8GB RAM in a single SO-DIMM slot expandable up to 16GB. Storage is handled by a 256GB PCIe Gen 3 SSD, which also supports future expansion.
Connectivity and Battery
The laptop offers a comprehensive selection of physical ports, including two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, two USB-C, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Wireless connections are backed by Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Online meetings are supported by a 720p webcam with a privacy shutter, dual microphones, and stereo speakers. The laptop relies on a 38 Wh battery paired with a 65 W USB-C charger for power delivery.
Lenovo V15 G6 Price in Nepal
