Lava has expanded its smartphone lineup with the official launch of the Lava Virat Curve, marking the fourth entry in the Virat series. Positioned as a more feature-rich and premium offering compared to its budget-focused siblings, this new handset brings unique design choices and capable mid-range performance to the table.
Distinctive Design and Mini Rear Display
The Lava Virat Curve stands out visually with its 3D curved rear panel crafted with a vegan leather finish. The back features a squircle camera module that houses a dual-camera setup along with a unique secondary mini display. Reminiscent of unique notification setups like the Nothing Phone series, this rear screen can display notifications, battery status, volume levels, time, and customizable emojis. The phone measures 8.55mm in thickness, weighs around 184g, and comes with an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating along with military-grade durability certification. Color options include Heritage Indigo, Ellora Slate, and Makrana Ivory.

On the front, the Virat Curve sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth navigation. It offers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and reaches up to 1100 nits of peak brightness for solid outdoor legibility. Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, paired with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Lava Virat Curve is available in India for INR 20,999 for the single 6GB/128GB trim on Flipkart, with sales kicking off on September 28. While official launch details for the local market have not been revealed yet, if it enters the Nepalese market, the Lava Virat Curve expected price in Nepal is around NPR 33,599.
