Insta360 has officially expanded its smartphone accessory lineup in Nepal with the launch of the Insta360 Flow 2, alongside the Flow 2 Pro. Tailored for mobile vloggers and content creators, this all-in-one stabilizer features upgraded AI subject tracking, integrated accessories, and mechanical stabilization.
Design and Physical Specs
The Flow 2 offers a compact, foldable design weighing 348 grams, accompanied by a 25-gram magnetic phone clamp. When folded, it measures 97.9 x 178.4 x 36.7mm, expanding to 121.1 x 282.1 x 54mm when unfolded. To eliminate the need for extra accessories, it integrates a built-in 207mm selfie stick alongside a built-in metal tripod.
The mechanical 3-axis system delivers stabilization with a maximum control speed of 120°/s. Its range of motion covers -210° to 120° on the pan axis, -207° to 123° on the roll axis, and -99° to 231° on the tilt axis. It accommodates smartphones weighing 130 to 300 grams, with widths from 64 to 84mm and thicknesses between 6.9 and 10mm.
AI Features and Smart Shooting
Powered by Insta360's Deep Track 4.0 AI tracking system, the gimbal maintains lock on targets even when briefly obstructed by obstacles. It supports Multi-Person Tracking for group shots, as well as tracking for animals and objects. Content creators can also utilize a built-in Teleprompter feature for scripted videos and a Pro Framing Grid offering nine options based on the golden ratio.
For remote operations, the Flow 2 can be controlled via an Apple Watch or a secondary smartphone. Connectivity options include NFC One-Tap Shooting for instant access to the Insta360 app, while Android users benefit from Quick Launch, which opens the native camera automatically upon unfolding the device. It also works seamlessly with the Insta360 Mic Air wireless microphone system.
Battery Life and Features
A built-in 1,100mAh battery powers the Flow 2 for up to 10 hours under test conditions. Recharging takes roughly two hours via a 5V/2A charger, and the gimbal can pass power to charge a connected phone during operation. Creators can use the AI Editing Suite to trim video clips, while the AI Tracker bundle includes an integrated spotlight for low-light environments.
