HONOR has officially expanded its smartwatch lineup in the Nepali market with the launch of the HONOR Watch X5 Play. Designed for budget-conscious buyers looking for a dependable wearable, this new smartwatch combines a large display, long battery backup, and essential health tracking tools.
Design and Display Features
The HONOR Watch X5 Play adopts a simple rectangular aesthetic complemented by a metal-textured frame. It is slim and lightweight, measuring 10.5mm in thickness and weighing approximately 26 grams without the strap, ensuring comfortable wear throughout the day. It also carries an IP68 rating for protection against dust and minor water exposure.
On the front, the smartwatch houses a prominent 2.01-inch display with a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels. The panel supports a 60Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and delivers up to 550 nits of brightness for decent outdoor visibility. HONOR has minimized the side bezels down to 2.0mm, achieving a high screen-to-body ratio of 77.5%.

Under the hood, the wearable operates on RTOS (Real-Time Operating System), focusing on energy efficiency and core daily navigation. It connects seamlessly to both Android and iOS smartphones using Bluetooth 6.0 and pairs through the HONOR Health app. Thanks to built-in Bluetooth calling, users can make and take phone calls straight from their wrist when connected to a phone.
For health tracking, the Watch X5 Play provides continuous 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO₂) measurement, stress tracking, and sleep analysis. Fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of 109 different sports modes tailored for various indoor and outdoor activities like running, cycling, and walking.
