Honor’s entry-level smartphone, the Honor Play10 (also referred to as Honor Play 10), continues to be available in the Nepali market. First introduced in Nepal back in September of last year with an aggressive launch price of NPR 10,999, the device has since undergone price adjustments, significantly changing its cost structure.
Design and Display
The Honor Play10 sports a 6.74-inch LCD screen delivering an HD resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The display incorporates a teardrop notch for the front camera and features prominent bezels at the bottom. Measuring 167.7 x 77.7 x 8.55 mm and weighing 189 grams, the device offers a manageable form factor for daily hand use.
While the global "Starry Purple" shade did not arrive in Nepal, buyers can choose between Ocean Cyan and Midnight Black finishes. Additional physical and connectivity features include an official IP52 dust and water resistance rating, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G LTE support.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G81 built on a 12nm process. It provides adequate power for basic everyday tasks like watching videos and browsing social media channels. Memory options go up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, with support for expandable storage up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. On the software side, it runs on Android Go (expected to be Android 15 Go Edition), keeping the user interface lightweight.
Camera and Battery Life
For photos and video calling, the Play10 carries a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing sensor. It is backed by a standard 5,000 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery that supports 10W charging speeds, capable of lasting up to two days under normal usage. Unlike many recent Honor devices that feature silicon-carbon battery technology, the Play10 sticks with conventional Li-Po chemistry to maintain budget constraints.
Honor Play10 Price in Nepal and Availability
The updated official pricing for the Honor Play10 in Nepal stands at NPR 20,999 for the 3/64GB configuration, while the 4/128GB model is listed at NPR 22,999. Interested buyers can purchase the device through authorized Honor retail stores across the country.
