HONOR is reportedly developing its next-generation flagship mid-ranger series, with early leaks surrounding the HONOR 700 Pro pointing toward a unique hardware addition: an integrated secondary screen on the back panel.
Redesigned Build and Secondary Display
Unlike last year's HONOR 600 Pro, which offered a magnetic mini-display accessory, the upcoming HONOR 700 Pro is expected to feature a 1.72-inch secondary display built directly into its rear casing. While its exact positioning is still unconfirmed—whether positioned beside the camera module or embedded directly within the camera island—this rear panel will allow users to frame high-resolution selfies and record videos using the primary rear camera.
On the front, the phone appears to be stepping away from the curved display of the HONOR 600 Pro. Instead, it is rumored to sport a flat 6.57-inch 1.5K display framed by thin, symmetrical bezels for a cleaner aesthetic.
200MP Camera and Hardware Performance
In the camera department, the HONOR 700 Pro is rumored to pack a 200MP primary sensor on the back. It will likely maintain a versatile triple-camera array similar to its predecessor, alongside a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom.
Under the hood, the device is expected to run on one of Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon processors, offering upgrades in processing power and thermal efficiency. The handset will likely run MagicOS built on top of Android 17 out of the box, incorporating custom AI software enhancements specifically designed to leverage the rear display.
Battery and Launch Timeline
To support the additional screen and high-resolution camera hardware, the battery capacity could see an upgrade. While the HONOR 600 Pro featured a 7,200mAh cell, the HONOR 700 Pro is rumored to pack a larger battery around 7,500mAh, complete with fast-charging support.
The HONOR 700 series is expected to make its official debut in China around November or December 2026, though exact release dates and global availability details remain unconfirmed by the manufacturer.
