Asus has officially introduced the 2025 edition of the Vivobook Go 15 (E1504) to the Nepali market. The latest entry-level laptop retains the design philosophy of its predecessors, focusing mainly on a processor update while remaining available in a single 15.6-inch variant.
Design and Display
Constructed entirely from polycarbonate, the Vivobook Go 15 comes in a silver finish and weighs 1.63 kg, making it a portable choice for daily commutes. The display is a 15.6-inch Full HD (FHD) IPS panel in a 16:9 aspect ratio. It features anti-glare properties, a 60Hz refresh rate, 250 nits brightness, and 45% NTSC color space coverage, making it suitable for indoor document work and media consumption. Sitting above the screen is a 720p HD webcam equipped with a hardware privacy shutter.
Performance and Hardware
Powering the device is the AMD Ryzen 3 30 processor. Built on the Zen 2 architecture (Mendocino series), the CPU includes 4 cores, 8 threads, and a maximum boost clock of 4.1 GHz. Basic graphics processing is managed by AMD's integrated Radeon 610M GPU with two compute units. The laptop packs 8GB of soldered RAM with no slot available for future expansion, coupled with 512GB of PCIe 3.0 SSD storage. This setup easily handles basic student workflows, web browsing, and remote meetings.
Connectivity, Battery, and Features
For physical connectivity, the laptop provides two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, an HDMI 1.4 display output, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Wireless connections are handled by Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. It also includes a fingerprint sensor for secure biometric logins. The device runs on a 42 Wh battery and recharges via an included 45W power adapter.
