Asus has expanded its entry-level laptop lineup in Nepal with the official launch of the Asus Vivobook Go 14. Designed primarily for students and budget-conscious buyers, this portable notebook combines everyday performance with a lightweight form factor.
Design and Display
Constructed with a durable plastic chassis, the Vivobook Go 14 keeps things highly portable at just 1.38 kg. It is available in three colorways: Mixed Black, Cool Silver, and Grey Green. The device sports a 60Hz Full HD display featuring 250 nits of brightness and 45% NTSC color gamut coverage. While the anti-glare screen is well-suited for document editing, Web browsing, and streaming videos indoors, visibility may be limited under direct bright sunlight. For online classes and meetings, there is an integrated 720p HD webcam equipped with a physical privacy shutter.
Ergonomics and Controls
Despite its entry-level pricing, Asus has equipped the laptop with its signature ErgoSense keyboard. The hinge slightly lifts the lower body when opened, creating a more comfortable typing angle while assisting with cooling and audio projection. The keys offer 1.4mm of key travel. To compensate for the compact layout, the trackpad includes an integrated virtual numeric pad for easy data entry.
Performance and Hardware
The laptop comes in multiple processor configurations, including the Intel Celeron N4500, Core i3-N305, AMD Ryzen 3 7320U, and AMD Ryzen 5 7520U. These chips are well-suited for daily student tasks such as assignment work, Zoom calls, and web browsing. Memory options range from 4GB, 8GB, to 16GB, while storage options include 128GB SSD on the base model and up to a 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD on higher variants.
Keeping the system running is a 3-cell 42Wh battery accompanied by a 45W AC adapter. Using its dedicated DC-in port, the laptop supports quick charging, reaching up to 60% capacity in 50 minutes. For physical connectivity, it features two USB-A ports, one USB-C port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Asus Vivobook Go 14 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 45,999 for the base Intel Celeron N4500 variant equipped with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage.
