Overview and Availability
Nagmani International, the authorized distributor of Asus products in Nepal, has launched the latest Asus Vivobook 14 (2025) in the local market. Designed as an affordable yet capable ultrabook, this laptop provides options tailored for students, professionals, and users needing reliable portable performance.
Design and Display Features
The Vivobook 14 (2025) sports a clean, minimalist design with a smooth metallic finish that resists fingerprints and smudges. With a weight between 1.3 kg and 1.46 kg and a slim profile, it easily fits into everyday bags. The laptop comes in four distinct colors: Cool Silver, Quiet Blue, Matte Gray, and Platinum Gold. For visual output, it carries a 14-inch WUXGA screen featuring a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Thin bezels give it an 87% screen-to-body ratio, offering an expansive viewing experience in a compact chassis.
Performance and Hardware Options
Buyers can choose among three processor families, all equipped with dedicated AI NPUs. The AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 (Ryzen AI 300 Series) is ideal for casual daily tasks like web browsing, streaming, and document work. For more intensive workloads like video editing, photo retouching, or software development, the 14-core Intel Core Ultra 5 225H (Core Ultra Series 2) delivers enhanced multi-threaded performance and a higher TDP. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon X Series model targets maximum battery efficiency and portability. Since the Snapdragon chip utilizes ARM architecture, it relies on Windows emulation for standard software, meaning some legacy programs and specialized tools might run into compatibility limitations. All variants ship standard with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
Connectivity, Camera, and Utilities
The notebook supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Physical ports include two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports with display and charging functionality, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. It supports USB-C Easy Charge and Power Delivery. Additional features include a Full-HD IR webcam with Windows Hello facial recognition and a physical privacy shutter, a touchpad with a hydrophobic anti-fingerprint coating, ASUS Smart Gesture support, and MyASUS software for battery health optimization.
Price in Nepal
The Asus Vivobook 14 (2025) price in Nepal starts at NPR 104,999 for the Snapdragon variant, while the high-tier Intel Core Ultra model goes up to NPR 170,905. The laptop can be purchased through authorized retail outlets across the country.
