Mobile App Developer - Trainee

Criico is seeking motivated candidates for its 6 to 12-month Management Trainee Program within the Product Department. This full-time trainee role provides recent graduates and final-semester students with a structured gateway into professional mobile software engineering. Working under the guidance of senior technical leads, the Trainee Mobile App Developer will participate in the complete app development lifecycle, translating design concepts into functional features for production-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior software engineers to develop and maintain mobile application features.
• Convert Figma UI/UX mockups into responsive, interactive mobile screens.
• Write clean, well-structured code that complies with team programming standards.
• Connect mobile screens and user flows with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Identify, debug, and resolve application bugs, including device-specific UI or performance issues.
• Assist in preparing and submitting apps to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Participate in team agile activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Study and implement mobile development best practices regarding offline storage, performance, and data security.
• Perform testing across various mobile devices and OS versions to ensure full compatibility.
• Document code components and contribute to internal knowledge sharing while rotating through brief project assignments.
