The NOC fee does not vary by destination country, contrary to how some searches are phrased ("NOC charge for Australia") - it's the same flat fee everywhere, per every source found. Figures below are consistently reported by education consultancies but not independently confirmed against MOEST's own fee page.

How this works

Nepal charges a 3% Education Service Fee on the NPR value of tuition/fees remitted abroad for study, collected by your bank at the time of the transfer. Separately, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology costs a flat NPR 2,000 (another NPR 2,000 if you later amend it) - apply via noc.moest.gov.np. Your bank's own wire transfer fee is separate and varies by bank - ask them directly for their current rate.
