SMC Global Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Plant Accounts Executive to oversee daily accounting functions at our manufacturing facility located in Bhairahawa. Aligning plant-level operations with corporate financial standards established in Kathmandu, this role provides an ideal platform for an ambitious accountant to gain valuable experience in industrial accounting, customs processes, and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) regulations.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring smooth operational workflows on-site. Primary responsibilities include:
- Accurately logging plant financial transactions, covering raw material movements, purchasing, general operational expenses, and payroll entries.
- Verifying invoices and supporting documentation to ensure prompt payment processing for contractors and suppliers.
- Supervising the plant petty cash system and maintaining thorough expense logs.
- Executing monthly reconciliations across bank statements, vendor ledgers, and inventory counts.
- Preparing plant financial reports and schedules aligned with corporate monthly closing timelines.
- Organizing systematic record-keeping systems for seamless audits, customs inspections, and SEZ compliance checks.
- Assisting in assembling necessary documentation for SEZ regulatory filings and customs clearance.
- Tracking expenditure trends and providing data for monthly budget variance analysis against target budgets.
